Teddy’s football journey began in the streets of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where his passion for the game was forged playing barefoot and competing with local talent.

In 2008/09, Teddy relocated to Texas and joined a Youth Academy, participating in an elite summer program with Houston Texans SC in Europe. His exceptional performances earned him multiple MVP awards during matches in Spain and England.

Teddy’s career progressed with the Houston Dynamo, where he trained and played for five seasons, including a significant training stint in Mexico. He began his collegiate career as an attacking midfielder at Carson-Newman University, playing a crucial role in the team’s conference championship and their appearance in the NCAA Division finals. He further demonstrated his skills at Concordia University in Austin, leading the Tornadoes to their first-ever winning season.

Academically, Teddy excelled, receiving scholarships for both his academic achievements and athletic prowess. He earned a degree in Behavioral Science, which provided him with valuable insights into human behavior and complemented his sports career.

Teddy’s commitment extends beyond athletics. His organization employs local college players who share his dedication to both sport and community, embodying his values of community engagement and support.
